Ssshhh! Tramshed is quiet in December....

In line with government guidance to reduce social contact, we closed our theatre and community space to the public during the national lockdown in November. From 3rd December London is in Tier 2, the full details about restrictions from government can be found here.

Until the very beginning of December we did not know if we were going to be in Tier 2 or 3 and whether we would be able to re-open again in 2020.  We took a difficult decision to remain quiet for the rest of this month having moved our sessions online again.

Although we were sad about this, the safety and health of our community, audiences and artists will always come first. Tramshed drama classes that are still running will go on operating online so do find out more information here.

Plans for performances in real life are postphoned until the New Year but we are delighted to be hosting a Winter exhibition about Woolwich from Kingston University Students in our window from 5th December.

You can drop into Tramshed on Saturdays in December for non-perishable food parcels from VOJC Concept on Saturdays in December from the 5th - 19th at 11am - 12:30pm. If you need food at this difficult time please do come in without hesitation. You can have a look at our updated Covid Secure Venue Sheet here to help to reassure you that we are working together to support you safely.

We would also like to use this opportunity to thank all the artists, organisations, volunteers and staff who have worked with us during this challenging pandemic period to date. We have maintained huge numbers of programmes online, run a digital festival, reopened the building and programmed family arts activities and even brought back a Tramshed Comedy night; But most importantly we would like to thank you our audiences , participants and supporters for continuing to engage with us. We will see you soon!

Follow us, feedback and stay in touch on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Email or call 020 8854 1316 and you will be diverted to speak to or leave a message for one of our core members of staff who will endeavour to get back to you as swiftly as possible.
