Working For Us

Tramshed has an established reputation as a leading creator of accessible and innovative participatory and creative experiences for young people and the wider community. Our staff are passionate about the trans-formative nature of the performing arts and the
power of real community engagement, and really are at the heart of everything we do.

Our staff are slam poets, facilitators, actors, DJs, painters and dancers, and all come from different backgrounds, cultures and professional experiences.

We want Tramshed to reflect our (London's) amazingly diverse community and welcome all people to apply to work with us.

Each year we offer a limited number of School and Higher Education Work Experience opportunities, Placements and Internships.  To find out more, or to fill in an Application Form, have a look at our Work Experience and Placements Page.

If you are interested in volunteering, we have a range of opportunities for you to get involved, develop your skills, or to simply have fun! Whether you want to work on one of our festivals or shows, or in a more permanent Front Of House role, there's lots of ways for you to volunteer with us.  To find out more, have a look at our Volunteers Page.

Executive Director

Tramshed Arts are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Executive Director to work alongside our Artistic Director/CEO to lead the organisation.

Working alongside the Chief Executive, the Executive Director will support the successful delivery of Tramshed’s artistic and community programme, positioning the organisation as a key creative hub in South East London.

In this interim year, we continue to deliver a full programme from temporary premises in central Woolwich.

Working strategically on the long-term sustainability of Tramshed, the Executive Director will ensure all departments work effectively together to deliver the charity’s objectives, and that its broad programme of work is communicated effectively to stakeholders, artists and the wider public.
