Great news! Tramshed’s February Half Term programme is almost here and it'll be on Zoom! We’ve got loads of really exciting sessions planned, and the BEST news? There’s something for everyone; plus the workshops are for ALL abilities and absolutely FREE.
Monday 15th Feb – Drama
Drama Games (ages 5-11) 10am-11am
A workshop for stretching the imagination, building confidence, and having fun!
Acting and Improv (ages 12-18) 11.30am-1pm
A session for sparking spontaneity, learning new acting techniques and thinking on your feet
Tuesday 16th Feb – Dance
Mime and Movement (ages 5-11) 10am-11am
Explore characters, expressions, and emotions through mime and movement
Hip Hop/Street Dance (ages 12-18) 11.30am-1pm
A chance to work with street dance pros and jump into hip hop culture
Wednesday 17th Feb – Music
Creative Signing: BSL to Music (ages 5 + and families) 10am-11am
A session to learn and express yourself with British Sign Language to music
Women in Hip Hop with Shay D (ages 12-18) 11.30am-1pm
Explore the portrayal of female artists in entertainment and pop culture with artist Shay D
Thursday 18th Feb – Art
Junk Puppets (ages 5-11) 10am-11am
Create and play with the art of puppetry using bits and bobs from around your house!
Performing Arts Focus: Directing (ages 12-18) 11.30am-1pm
Discover top tips and practice directorial techniques with industry professionals
Friday 19th Feb – Mental Health
Drama and Wellbeing (ages 5 + and families) 10am-11am
Fun for all the family! Explore mindfulness and wellbeing through drama games and exercises
Breathe (for parents/carers/guardians) 11.30am-1pm
Take a breath. A wellbeing-focussed adult support group for breathing, relaxing and practicing grounding techniques
You need to register for a programme in order to be sent the Zoom link. You can register for as many workshops as you like!
