Telling Tales @ Thamesmead Tump 53
Sun 25th July 2021 - Sun 25th July 2021
25th July @ Thamesmead Tump 53
Telling Tales is an interactive storytelling, drama, games and literary performance session.
Unfortunately, Sandra Agard will be unable to attend this event but do not fear because we have Liz Fost taking you on a journey through pages into a world of wonder!
Liz has been working as an actor and professional children’s storyteller for many years and has made numerous appearances in Libraries, Schools, and at Book Festivals and other events all over the country. Liz tells stories ‘interactively’ so there is always a lot to join in with ensuring that there is never a dull moment!
As an actor, she has specialized in work for children and young people and has worked with several leading children’s Theatre companies including Polka and The Unicorn. She regularly tours the country with her own one-woman children’s shows.
Liz also runs an education company ‘Teach-It-Through-Drama’ which concentrates on integrating drama into the National Curriculum!
Perfomances at: 10:45am / 1:15pm / 2:45pm - All 30 minutes long
Fun for all the family and ages.
We are bringing a weekend packed full of fun to Tump 53! As well as working alongside the Peabody Housing Association who will be providing free meals at the event to Peabody families in Thamesmead to combat holiday hunger.
You don't need to book a ticket for this event.
This event is part of Greenwich Family Arts Festival, a month-long programme of free arts activities, theatre, workshops and more taking place all across the borough of Greenwich. Events are grouped across a weekend in different locations so you can attend multiple events each day and really get those festival vibes (we all know it's been a long time!)
