Dr Carnesky’s Radical Cabaret School ZOOM Showcase
Sat 8th May 2021 - Sat 8th May 2021
You are invited to witness the results of a radical experiment in cabaret performance creation in a digital event via Zoom.
For eight weeks under the shadow of a Covid world, every Thursday a group of very committed artists with radical visions met and worked through a series of lectures and exercises with seasoned radical showwoman Dr Marisa Carnesky. Both activist and transformational the work is bold and fearless made both collectively and individually in living rooms, bedrooms and online.
Bursting out of the screen and directly into your home, see mind blowing results of completely original work and ideas, witness the making of new work that will come to a stage near you in the very near future.
Dr Carnesky’s Radical Cabaret School was funded by Arts Council England and produced in partnership with the Tramshed Progression programme of artist development to create accessible and manageable arts training and community for artists in these difficult times.
To support the technical realisation of the finished shows we are charging £5 for the performance tickets.
This event is 18+ as it contains adult themes.
