This summer we are bringing you the very best comedians on the circuit for a night of local laughs, a cash bar and weather to die for - We hope!
We honoured the Tramshed's history as being a venue for live comedy (one of the oldest comedy clubs in London actually) with monthly comedy nights before lockdown. We want to continue this legacy in the safest way to do that would be to go outdoors.
So that's exactly what we did!

A regular on the comedy circuit throughout the UK. Leroy’s had 3 years of sold-out solo shows at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, can been seen on TV as Rob on the BBC One hit sitcom Tourist Trap and is also the creator of the Moment of Truth podcast. He’s recently been a guest host on BBC Wales’ Six Nations Sin Bin, a host on BBC Radio Wales’ The Leak and featured as a stand-up on BBC Radio Wales’ Machynlleth Comedy Festival Virtual Showcase.

Rachel Fairburn is a comedian and writer from Manchester. She has been featured in Chortle’s ‘One to Watch' list in 2020 and picked up the 2019 online content award from Joe.co.uk. She has also been a finalist of several prestigious competitions including Funny Women, City Life Comedian of the Year, the NATYS and English Comedian of the Year.
Rachel is co-host and co-writer of the worldwide smash-hit podcast All Killa No Filla. With a huge international following of over a quarter of a million listeners and growing, she has taken the podcast on several sell-out UK tours and a recent tour of the USA. She has been a staple of the Edinburgh Fringe since 2014, with 5 critically acclaimed solo shows under her belt and featured in the ‘40 jokes of the fringe’ by the Daily Telegraph in 2018. A regular on the UK stand-up circuit, Rachel is also curator and host of the wildly popular ‘Comedian’s Stories’ night at the 2Northdown comedy club in London.
Rajiv Karia is an up and coming stand-up with a subversive take on the day-to-day world. From conspiracy theories to veganism, or even just the life of a slacker in his twenties, Rajiv puts his comedic spin on it all.
Rajiv has recently been announced as one of the BBC Studios new Staff Writers, to work across comedy productions for BBC Studios Audio, including the flagship Radio 4 topical shows The Now Show, The News Quiz, Dead Ringers and Newsjack. He has also been shortlisted for BBC Radio 4 Comedy Award 2019 and his script has been shortlisted for Triforce Writerslam 2019, in association with Amazon Studios.

Double Edinburgh Comedy Award ‘Best Show’ nominee Ahir Shah is one of the fastest-rising comedians of his generation. Shah’s sharp, intellectual brand of stand-up features a blend of philosophical inquiry, political vigour, and sweet gags. He has performed stand-up on Live At The Apollo (BBC 2), The Now Show (Radio 4) and Stand-Up Central (Comedy Central). Outside of stand up, Ahir has also been seen on shows including Have I Got News For You (BBC1), Frankie Boyle's New World Order (BBC 2), Catastrophe (Channel 4), and Campus (Channel 4).
He has also performed and regularly writes on The Mash Report (BBC 2) and has written and starred in the short films Ahir Shah’s Summer (Sky) and Ahir Shah’s Life Lessons (BBC Three) and has developed two sitcom pilots for Channel 4.
As seen on BBC’s Funny Festival Live (BBC Two) and a main cast member and writer for smash hit show Bamous (BBC Three/One), Toussaint Douglass is one of comedy’s most exciting new names. A livewire performer, Toussaint has recently supported Mo Gilligan, Russell Howard and Paul Chowdhry.
Toussaint Douglass has also appeared on BBC Presents: Stand Up For Live Comedy (BBC Three/One) and is a writer for The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One).

This event will take place at the outdoor venue St George's Garrison Church in Woolwich. There is level access via the A205 and via steps on Woolwich New Road. There are toilets on site and a bar which is cash only.

Our Covid policy
Due to the ongoing pandemic, we require all audiences to adhere to the following guidelines at all events in our venue:
- You must wear a face covering for the duration of the event and whilst in our building unless you are exempt
- We require you to sign in via the NHS App QR code OR via our sign-in sheet at Box Office
- We will conduct temperature checks on arrival
- Please wash your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser that is available at various points around the venue
- Please DO NOT enter the building if you are feeling unwell or are currently isolating
- Adhere to social distancing
If it becomes necessary to cancel the event due to the ongoing pandemic we will contact you via email and will trigger an automatic refund back to the original payment method.
If you feel unwell
During the pandemic, we will offer an exchange or refund to those who are feeling unwell provided we are given no less than 4 hours notice before the performance. Any other circumstances will be at the discretion of the Box Office team.
