This summer we are bringing you the very best comedians on the circuit for a night of local laughs, a cash bar and weather to die for - We hope!
We honoured the Tramshed's history as being a venue for live comedy (one of the oldest comedy clubs in London actually) with monthly comedy nights before lockdown. We want to continue this legacy in the safest way to do that would be to go outdoors.
So that's exactly what we did!
We are pleased to present to you Comedy at the Garrison! So bring your family & friends, grab a couple drinks in and join us for a whole lotta laughter. Also our very own MC Daniel Ward-Nixon (The face of Comedy at Tramshed)
Our summer line-ups include:
Friday 23rd July
Rachel Fairburn is a comedian and writer from Manchester. She has been featured in Chortle’s ‘One to Watch' list in 2020 and picked up the 2019 online content award from Joe.co.uk. She has also been a finalist of several prestigious competitions including Funny Women, City Life Comedian of the Year, the NATYS and English Comedian of the Year.
Rachel is co-host and co-writer of the worldwide smash-hit podcast All Killa No Filla. With a huge international following of over a quarter of a million listeners and growing, she has taken the podcast on several sell-out UK tours and a recent tour of the USA. She has been a staple of the Edinburgh Fringe since 2014, with 5 critically acclaimed solo shows under her belt and featured in the ‘40 jokes of the fringe’ by the Daily Telegraph in 2018. Friday 20th August
Double Edinburgh Comedy Award ‘Best Show’ nominee Ahir Shah is one of the fastest-rising comedians of his generation. Shah’s sharp, intellectual brand of stand-up features a blend of philosophical inquiry, political vigour, and sweet gags. He has performed stand-up on Live At The Apollo (BBC 2), The Now Show (Radio 4) and Stand-Up Central (Comedy Central). Outside of stand up, Ahir has also been seen on shows including Have I Got News For You (BBC1), Frankie Boyle's New World Order (BBC 2), Catastrophe (Channel 4), and Campus (Channel 4).
He has also performed and regularly writes on The Mash Report (BBC 2) and has written and starred in the short films Ahir Shah’s Summer (Sky) and Ahir Shah’s Life Lessons (BBC Three) and has developed two sitcom pilots for Channel 4.
