The Royal Borough of Greenwich has been awarded a Cultural Impact Award, a Mayor of London initiative. Between December 2025 and March 2027, Tramshed will be the Creative Programme Partner, and will be working two groups of young creatives to design 4 incredible brand-new art events! Known as Steering Boards, the participants will learn about and plan these events and helping to shape and produce this exciting new programme. These are paid positions building a real future in the creative industries.

We're creating two Steering Boards:
13-18s
19-30s
Both groups will help develop and co-create the event programme across the borough, gaining valuable experience, skills, and industry connections.

Both Steering Boards will meet for 8 sessions at Tramshed between January and March 2026.

During February Half Term (16–20 February 2026), 13-18 Steering Board members will be paid to take part in some amazing interactive sessions and workshops with a number of leading cultural organisations to learn new skills and connect with inspiring professionals.
19-30 Steering Board members will also be offered a minimum of 5 days' work experience each with some amazing cultural organisations, across weeks commencing 26 January, 2 February and 9 February. We’ll be flexible to fit around your work/study commitments.
In February 2026, 19-30 Steering Board members will also be invited to apply for 4 x paid roles as Emerging Producers helping to deliver the programme’s festivals and events.
