The Doctor Will See You Now

Presented by Zoe Chapman & Erin Chen, PG

Five strangers are trapped in the hospital waiting room where time loses all meaning. While waiting for their appointments, they must endure broken systems, a severely overworked and understaffed hospital team, and one another. Facing plenty of curveballs, these strangers must fight a descent into chaos and anarchy. This absurdist comedy emphasises the ridiculous negligence of essential healthcare in times of need while showcasing a common experience.

Zoe Chapman & Erin Chen are a writer director duo who have worked together in their time at university collaborating on several productions including Mosaic, written by Chapman and directed by Chen in 2024, and The Doctor Will See You Now’s debut at Camden People’s Theatre in June 2025. As recent university graduates they are eager to develop original works and bring their unique voices to the industry. Chen and Chapman are passionate in creating art that is personal and detailed, which audiences can connect and relate to.

Boggin

Presented by GOWD, 12+

''Boggin' is an experimental, auto-biographical performance that explores the concept of 'Generational Loss' and applying it to the human experience. recipes, old movies, towns, your grans brothers uncle. the older we get the more we lose, the more the past becomes distorted through our own view. but what if we could clear the image. what if we didn't have a fuzzy patch in our brain? What if VHS spat itself back out and the boogyman strangled us with the tape and sent us down a river till we get bogged up in peat? Play the tape...

'BoNJ(they/them) is an experimental performance artist and dual-citizen (Canada/Scotland) currently based in Norwich. They're performance practice is heavily inspired/involves experimental performance styles, including live art, immersive/site specific/street theatre, installations, neo-burlesque, and devised theatre. They explore themes of the LGBTQ+, mental health, family dynamics and religion through an auto-biographical lens. They are also actively performing in the D.I.Y, punk cabaret scene around London & Norwich. To sum up their work it's like if you mixed sand with paint-stripper and witnessed a crucifixion while listening to Archie Fisher.
