Our acclaimed weekly youth theatre groups for ages 8-12
Wednesdays | 5:30pm - 6:45pm
Get creative, work together and discover new skills.
Middle Youth Theatre (MYT) is a place where young people can build confidence, get creative and have fun through drama. Sessions include games, acting, improvisation, storytelling and creating original ideas together in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Participants will have the chance to develop new skills, express themselves, meet new people and make lasting friendships, all while exploring their creativity.
Whether participants have never tried drama before or already enjoy taking part, MYT is a friendly space where everyone is encouraged to have a go, learn something new and be themselves. No previous drama or acting experience is needed.
Tramshed's Youth Theatre has been running for almost 50 years and has been attended by some famous locals including Bernadine Evaristo who won the Booker Prize in 2019. Bernadine credits her love for the arts having grown when she was part of Tramshed's Youth Theatre.
