Are you a disabled artist with a bold idea for outdoor performance? We're commissioning a new or existing 30-minute performance piece for ParkFest, a festival of open air and free cultural entertainment taking place in two outdoor spaces in Greenwich this September.
This is an open call, and you do not need to be local to apply. We are seeking proposals from artists or companies who self identify as disabled, whether emerging or established, with professional ambition and a strong creative vision.

About the Work:
We welcome submissions from all forms of performance art, including but not limited to music, dance, theatre, spoken word, drag, circus, multimedia, and experimental work
Content must be suitable for daytime public space, including children and community members of all ages and experiences
Around 30 minutes in length (longer pieces can be discussed)
The work can be brand new or previously performed. Please let us know in your application where it has been shown before
Our N’Abled Steering Board are disabled activists themselves, and are therefore especially interested in work that is activist, exciting, and challenges perceptions of what disabled people can do. There are absolutely no parameters around how this may be presented; work, for example, may be celebratory, questioning, comedic or dramatic
To Apply:
Please send us:
A cover letter (max 1 A4 page) audio file or video file outlining your idea and what you'd like to do
A CV tailored to your practice. Again this can be submitted in written form, as an audio file, or video file

Link to your website or online portfolio (if available)
